Central Park Nursing Home provides long term care respite and short-term holiday care. Central Park Nursing Home can accommodate 41 residents at present.
The new extension to Central Park Nursing Home is due to open in October 2011.
This new building will contain state of the art facilities including Hydrotherapy Pool, beauty rooms and visitor's overnight stay room. Full details of the new building can be seen here.

We accommodate both female and male residents over the age of 18 years with the following care needs: general care, rehabilitation, chronic mental illness, chronic physical illness, dementia, physical disability, intellectual disability, social reasons and palliative care, neurological conditions. There are fifteen double sharing rooms, one three bedded room, four single ensuite rooms, four single rooms. A separate dining room, one large day room, one sunroom, one conservatory / visiting room, oratory and one smoking room, Well equipped kitchen and area in conservatory that can be used by residents and their families for hot drinks and snacks.
The visitor friendly entrance lobby has comfortable seating in reception area. We have beautiful landscaped gardens; listen to the tranquil sounds of the waterfall with seating available in a colourful flowered garden. We have a large pond and you may walk over the bridge to a seated barbeque patio, where we have barbeques and picnics weather permitting.
Visit our resident’s pet farm where you will see chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants, peacocks, exotic birds, sheep, lambs and emus for entertainment. We also provide an enclosed courtyard with seating and enclosed garden with a glasshouse provided where residents enjoy doing their own gardening. |
